Two daring heroes have started up a Ghostbusters Franchise in Bryan, Ohio, in the hopes of cashing in on the money of every local between Toledo, Ohio, and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Curtis Kerplowski and Brent Bradington are hopefully on their way to fame and fortune – but unfortunately were unable to get the requisitioned Ectomobile and instead ended up with a VW Bug. They’ve been assured it’s only temporary …

I ran Ghostbusters International with friends Matt and DJ as a one-shot to test out the game for a review in Knights of the Dinner Table Magazine. Though the game was played on May 3, 2009, it takes place in 1989, not long after the Ghostbusters made their comeback in the U.S.

I’m about 45 minutes into the game, and I’m really liking it so far. You guys really capture the hilarious spirit of the Ghostbusters films. I love the sound effects and music, too! Nice touches.

Definitely gonna try to get my hands on this sourcebook, if at all possible.

Thanks. Glad you’re enjoying it. The boxed set is really nice but kind of hard to find, even on ebay. Keep in mind, this is the 2nd edition of the game (Ghostbusters International) as opposed to the 1st edition. Only a few changes, but they were for the better, I think.

Thanks again for listening and commenting.
