Call of Cthulhu – Down Darker Trails 11 – The Beast Under the Bed

A clue has led the investigators to head for the village of Gravity Falls, Oregon.  However, on they way, they come across the tiny town of Quiet Gap, Nevada … but absolutely no one is there.

On September 16, 2018, the Down Darker Trails campaign, taking place in the American West, continued with “The Beast Under the Bed” adapted from the scenario by Michael C. LaBossiere from Challenge Magazine #77. Players were Yorie, Ben, John, and James.

Professor Terwilliger has been kidnapped and it’s up to the investigators to track him down and save him.  But there’s more to this than meets the eye.

On September 2, 2018, the Down Darker Trails campaign, taking place in the American West, continued with original scenario “The Scorched Secret or The Kidnapping of Professor Marion Terwilliger.”  Players were John, James, Amy, Haylee, and Kyle.

Finally arriving in Devil’s Gulch, the investigators find the town is preparing to become the county seat.  However, Gemma’s sister’s saloon is being attacked at night and something is not completely right in the town.

On April 22, 2018, the Down Darker Trails campaign, taking place in the American West, continued with original scenario “The Doom That Came to Devil’s Gulch.”  Players were Ambralyn, Yorie, Ashton, Ben, John, and Austin.

From western Colorado, the investigators run into some old friends before heading west towards Denver.  Unfortunately, a terrible storm catches them on the road.  There’s only one place to stop: a house on a hill.
