When a mutual friend gifts the investigators with boxes of chocolates, they are unexpectedly catapulted to the Dreamlands where they find he did it merely to thank them for their friendship. Then they do a little favor for him and end up traveling the Dreamlands to worlds beyond.
I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The 43rd session of the game took place on April 10, 2017, with the short introductory scenarios “To Sleep, Perchance to Dream” by Jeff Okamoto and “Lemon Sails” by Phil Frances from H.P. Lovecraft’s Dreamlands. My players were Ashton, Katelyn, Ambralyn, Kyle, Ben, and James.
