Call of Cthulhu – Valentine’s in Innsmouth

The Lovecraft Country Cousins are back, this time to help Alice find her Aunt Margie, whom she is sure is still in the village of Innsmouth, which has been under control and guard by government forces since the raid last year.  Can the youths sneak into the town and rescue the woman?  Is she even there?  And what secrets does Innsmouth actually hold?

On March 25, 2018, we played a one-shot original scenario “Valentine’s in Innsmouth” based on the scenarios “Christmas in Kingsport” and “Halloween in Dunwich” by Oscar Rios.  It took place in February 1929.  Players were Ambralyn, Ben, Collin, and Ashton.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 3

With Doc taken out of the picture by a heart attack, the children find they have an adult ally, but not one who can genuinely help them.  It’s up to them to end the threat, one way or another.  Will they succeed?  Will they survive?

On February 11, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Yorie, John, Austin, Ambralyn, Kyle, and Ben.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 2

Convinced what is plaguing the town of Sanguis is vampires, the children do what they can to stop the rising tide of terror.  First they must destroy the thing that Tommy Hill has become.  Next, they must find where vampiric plague is spreading from.

On January 28, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Ben, Austin, John, Ambralyn, and Yorie.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 1

When a little boy from Sanguis, Alabama, gets sick, it’s just the start of the terror that begins infecting the tiny town.  Something is wrong and it has to do with the railroad, the old haunted plantation outside of town, and something evil.

On January 21, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Kyle, Ben Austin, Ambralyn, John, and Yorie.

On November 12, 2017, I ran the new 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu group with an original scenario to end out the semester and the short campaign: “The Lurker in Tunnel 13.” Players were John, Jacob, Austin, and Katelyn.
