The investigation in Charing Cross becomes more intense, with several of the investigators arrested as others try to figure out what is going on. In the end, some disappear while others continue the investigation as best they can to try to unravel the mystery in the small town. Are the police in on it, or just aggressive? What is the secret of the old house outside of town? What is causing the mysterious deaths?

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The fourth session of the game took place on May 4, 2014, with the scenario “What Goes Around, Comes Around” by Jeff Moeller from The Resurrected III: Out of the Vault. My players were Jocelin, Nissa, Kyle, Bo, Tabitha, James Brown, James Williams, Logan, Aaron, Caitlin, and John. With people going away for the summer, we played a longer game to finish out the scenario
