Superworld Campaign 11 – Investigation and Fire

The heroes continue their investigation of Dr. Murder but the trail soon grows cold. Then, an arsonist appears in Charlotte and the heroes have reason to suspect he might be an exotic.

I started running a Superworld campaign for students at Appalachian State University in September 2014. The game was set in Charlotte, N.C., starting in the fall of 2014. It was a continuation of the stand-alone game of Superworld I ran in August, though taking place in the present instead of the 1980s, a kind of continuation of that game. This 11th session of the game took place on May 17, 2015, with the original scenario “Fire and Ice.” My players were Nissa, Kyle, and Aaron.

Call of Cthulhu – Terror Over Tokyo: The Obake Shima Incident

I ran a Call of Cthulhu Game at NerdCon 2015 at Appalachian State University. “Terror Over Tokyo: The Obake Shima Incident” took place during the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo in April 1942. The B-25 Bomber that is part of the raid must make hard choices when one of the fuel tanks is punctured. My players were Teri, Toli, Carl, Walker, and Devin.

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 16 – Lonely Point Lighthouse Session 2

The investigators learn the terrible secret of Lonely Point Lighthouse, but will they survive the night with the things that haunt the place?

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The sixteenth session of the game took place on April 19, 2015, with the scenario “Lonely Point Lighthouse” by Oscar Rios from Island of Ignorance. My players were Nissa, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Richard.

Call of Cthulhu: The Haunted Place

A man has gone mad and his brother wants investigators to find out what in his Providence house could have caused it. Unfortunately, they bite off a little more than they can chew.

On April 12, 2015, the Appalachian State University Game Club had a LAN party and the president of that club asked if I could run a game of Call of Cthulhu during it. I was happy to oblige. I pulled out the original scenario “The Haunted Place” which I’d run as part of the Providence campaign some months before, though the player in that case had not finished it. This serves as a follow-up of the initial investigation. My players were James, Mike, Darian, Nissa, Elizabeth, and Katelyn.

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 15 – Lonely Point Lighthouse Session 1

The city of New London needs help in debunking a haunted lighthouse. Can the investigators help … or will they find something sinister?

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The fifteenth session of the game took place on March 29, 2015, with the scenario “Lonely Point Lighthouse” by Oscar Rios from Island of Ignorance. My players were Nissa, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Richard.
