Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 9 – The Asylum Session 1

After having Manfred Donald committed to Holmes Sanitarium in Greenwood, R.I., just north of Providence. Some of the investigators decide to visit him and look around the place. What they find disturbs them.

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The ninth session of the game took place on September 21, 2014, with the scenario “The Asylum” from The Cthulhu Casebook. My players were Nissa, James Brown, and John.

The role playing journals for the session can be found here:

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 8 – Homecoming

When a friend and neighbor asks several of the investigators to come to his coming of age party at the old homestead in rural Ohio, no one suspects that the entire house will turn into a terrible trap for all of them. Will they be able to save the soul of William H. Pendergast IV? Will they be able to save themselves?

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The eighth session of the game took place on August 31, 2014, with the scenario “Homecoming” by James Tremlett which was originally posted online (the site is no longer valid, however). My players were Aaron, James Brown, Kyle, and James Williams.
