Call of Cthulhu – Down Darker Trails 24 – Unwholesome Expectations Session 1

Quinton C. Crankshaft follows up on word that squatters are at his house: the old Simmons place some miles from Dodge City, Kansas.  He is joined by Federal Marshal Bob Williams.  Thing get strange fairly quickly.

On October 6, 2019, the Down Darker Trails campaign, taking place in the American West continued with the original  scenario “Unwholesome Expectations.”  Players were Vincent and Patrick.

Professor Stalloid is joined on his quest to find the Dragon Cannon by two others who have been seeking him out.

Call of Cthulhu – The Colossus of Messines

It is June 1917 and the British are planning a great push in the area of the ruined village of Messines.  Eight men manning a Mark IV tank as part of the attack soon find they are facing something much worse than the Germans.

I ran a Call of Cthulhu Game at the Appalachian State University NerdCon 2019 on March 30, 2019.  “The Colossus of Messines” took place during the Battle of Messines in June 1917.  The crew of a WWI Mark IV tank find they are facing something truly terrifying.  Players were Carl, Roy, Alexis, Alex, Bruce, and Sydney

It’s been several months and Professor Stalloid has returned to San Francisco to sell his house when he is present for a ship coming into port, carrying an artifact from China.  Things go wrong when the artifact isn’t there and Professor Stalloid takes it upon himself to try to track it down.

Marshal Clayton Pierce has been busy for several months, including dealing with Jack Parker, confronting Frederick Rotheschilde, and going into the ghost town of Black Knoll New Mexico.

On February 16, 2019, the Down Darker Trails campaign, taking place in the American West continued with the original scenario “A Night at Black Knoll” based on “A Night in Black Knoll” in Adventures into the Unknown #13.  Player was Kyle.
