Masks of Nyarlathotep Intro

New York, New York January 14th, 1925. A strange telegram sends investigators through Harlem, Harvard, and horror.

This is the first game of my attempt to run The Complete Masks of Nyarlathotep. I was trying to wait for the re-release but Chaosium is taking their time. I’m sure it will be epic. Buy it.

Also check out The Gaming Grunts, a source of inspiration.

There is a snazzy intro song, performed by Rev. Hollis Brown and Tex Huston, to set the mood. This is more pulp and flash, and the sessions quickly go pear shaped. I hope you enjoy our rendition of this classic Call of Cthulhu campaign.

Notes of Madness – Playtest 1

In late June 1928, George Gershwin returned to New York from Paris where he had hoped to study with famous composition teacher, Nadia Boulanger. She declined his request, however that doesn’t mean he returned empty-handed. Three mysterious pages of an unknown score plague his thoughts. When the investigators come upon these, where will they lead them?

Ars Serpentis – Playtest 1

In the winter of 2008, the students and faculty at the bucolic Laurel College are gearing up to celebrate the bicentennial of the school’s founding. However, the mood on campus has somewhat darkened due to a pair of unexplained disappearances that neither the college officials, nor the local authorities, seem willing to address. Now, a third person has disappeared, and a team of Investigators has assembled to get to the bottom of the mystery. Can they discover the truth behind the disappearances, expose those responsible, and rescue the missing people before it’s too late? (SPOILER: No, no they can’t…)
