Call of Cthulhu – The Curse of Dudleytown

Six people traveled to Dudleytown, Connecticut, from Cornwall on Monday, Sept. 16, 1811. All of them had their own reasons for traveling to the tiny village near Cornwall Bridge. They had no idea that the curse of the town would strike them, endangering all of their lives.

On March 30, 2014, at CaesarCon 2014, I ran the original Call of Cthulhu scenario “The Curse of Dudleytown” to explore the legendary curse on that tiny hamlet. My players were Josh, Xavier, Steve, Scott, Natalie, and Laura.

Call of Cthulhu – Leaflet Mission II

It was around 18:00 hours on Sunday, February 25, 1945, when the crew of the Big Money, a Boeing B-17 bomber with the 492nd Bomb Group, 406th Bomb Squadron Night Leaflet Squadron of the 8th Army Air Force, entered the mess hall at Cheddington Airfield in Buckinghamshire, England. It was unusual, to say the least, as the crew usually met with the crew of their sister ship, the Pretty Lady, in the Mail Briefing Room for pre-flight pre-briefings.

On March 29, 2014, at CaesarCon 2014, I ran the original Call of Cthulhu Scenario “Leaflet Mission II” to learn the fate of the sister ship to the Pretty Lady, the B-17 Bomber in Leaflet Mission. My players were with Scott, Adam, Terina, Natalie, Stephen, Chris, D.J., Lilly, Matt, and Josh. We had a full crew of 10 players for the 10 positions on the bomber.

Call of Cthulhu – With Extreme Prejudice

On Friday, May 2, 1969, an M35 2 ½ ton truck crossed Vietnam from Long Binh Jail near Saigon to a relatively deserted area of jungle west of Pleiku, near the border of Cambodia. Each of the men within had accepted the offer that was made by a mysterious officer present at Long Binh Jail to go on a top-secret mission with the promise of having the charges against them dropped.

On March 28, 2014, I ran the original Call of Cthulhu scenario “With Extreme Prejudice” at CaesarCon 2014. My players were Josh, Lily, Steve, Liu, Nathan, and Chris.

Delta Green – Big Trouble in Little Mina

When a Delta Green friendly from Toledo, Ohio, turns up missing, it’s up to agents from the local Delta Green cell to track him down. If he’s in trouble, he must be rescued. If he’s been compromised, he must be silenced. In any case, it must be done quietly and with discretion.

Two Delta Green Agents and a Delta Green friendly are sent to investigate. Harold Warring, codename Ulf, was a field agent for the FBI in Toledo and had secretly been an agent of Delta Green since2001, when something flew out of the sky during an investigation on an island on Lake Erie and killed two other field agents. Ian MacElroy, codename Umberto, worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources in Athens, Ohio. He had also worked for Delta Green since 2012, when he stumbled into some kind of strange plot to poison an entire town with an alien virus. Finally, Johnathan Johnson (nickname: John-John, which he hated) ran a small online computer repair business form his folks’ house in Farmer, Ohio. He had been a Delta Green friendly ever since, while investigating five haunted houses for his website, Ghostlore, he’d come into contact with Delta Green.

I ran this scenario at CaesarCon in Williams County Ohio in March of 2013. The scenario itself takes place over the same weekend, not far from where the convention took place, in the (now) fictional town of Mina, Ohio.

(D20 Call of Cthulhu) GrumbleHammer Eldritch Investigations: The Carrigan Case

“First steps into a much larger world. The investigators begin the new decade with a case as simple as they come, how ever little do they know that something brews beneath there feet, a mystery that will spark a journey into darkness and wonder…”

A few of my buddies came to me wanting to run a 1920’s investigative horror game after I showed them the Call of Cthulhu D20 book I had recently bought. This is the first session of an ongoing “campaign” that has, forgotten secrets, horror, and pulp story attitude.

GM: Chris

Players:

Aaron- Dimitri Grumblewitz
