It’s all or nothing in this single-session adventure.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 3

With Doc taken out of the picture by a heart attack, the children find they have an adult ally, but not one who can genuinely help them.  It’s up to them to end the threat, one way or another.  Will they succeed?  Will they survive?

On February 11, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Yorie, John, Austin, Ambralyn, Kyle, and Ben.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 2

Convinced what is plaguing the town of Sanguis is vampires, the children do what they can to stop the rising tide of terror.  First they must destroy the thing that Tommy Hill has become.  Next, they must find where vampiric plague is spreading from.

On January 28, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Ben, Austin, John, Ambralyn, and Yorie.

Call of Cthulhu – What Rough Beast Session 1

When a little boy from Sanguis, Alabama, gets sick, it’s just the start of the terror that begins infecting the tiny town.  Something is wrong and it has to do with the railroad, the old haunted plantation outside of town, and something evil.

On January 21, 2018, I ran the original scenario “What Rough Beast.”  Meant to be a one-shot, the scenario would go on to last three sessions.  The players rolled up investigators who were all around 13 years old, youths who are the only ones who might believe what is happening in the village.  Players were Kyle, Ben Austin, Ambralyn, John, and Yorie.

Call of Cthulhu – Halloween in Dunwich

Great Grandpa Silas has the best Halloween parties and the Lovecraft Country Cousins all enjoy them more than anything. But something goes terribly wrong during the party in 1928 and it’s up to the children to save their parents and grandparents before the night is through.

On October 29, 2017, I ran the call of Cthulhu scenario “Halloween in Dunwich” by Oscar Rios from the Halloween Horror Monograph as a Halloween one-shot. My players were Collin, Ashton, Ben, Ambralyn, and Katelyn.

Call of Cthulhu – Fear Jet 1972

Tenebris Studios, a second rate, blaxploitation movie studio, is sending its best actors to do some location shots in Houston, Texas, along with the producer and director of the Bond-esque movie Mr. Black. However, the Learjet they’re taking there isn’t all that it seems and they find themselves somewhere far more terrible.

I ran the original Call of Cthulhu scenario Fear Jet at the App State Gaming Club Gamefest on October 28, 2017, at Appalachian State University. The players were Ryan, Kyle, Abbie, Xavier, Jonathon, and Kurt.
