Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 48 – Blood on the Tracks

The investigators accompany one of their own looking for wildcatters in the bayous of Louisiana, but first they board a non-stop train from Boston to New Orleans. When one of the passengers is murdered, they realize they have a mystery on their hands.

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The 47th session of the game took place on September 10, 2017, with the scenario “Blood on the Tracks” by J. Todd Kingrea from The Resurrected III: Out of the Vault. My players were James, Hannah, Ben, and Yorie.

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 47 – The Darkness Beneath the Hill

A local friend of the investigators has found something amazing under the house he recently inherited. He wants them to come document the find with him. When he goes missing, it turns into a rescue mission.

I started running a Call of Cthulhu campaign for students at Appalachian State University in March 2014. The game was set in Providence, R.I., starting in the summer of 1925. The 47th session of the game took place on August 27, 2017, with the scenario “The Darkness Beneath the Hill” by Christopher Smith Adair from Doorways to Darkness. My players were James, Ben, Ambralyn, Katelyn, and Yorie.

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 46 – Roadkill

When an investigator gets a lead on an esoteric book in the wilds of Minnesota, three people from Providence head for the wilds of Minnesota to try to retrieve it. As they drive down a dark and stormy road, their car hits something, causing them to crash. Can they find shelter in the nearby house?

The strange death of a hunter in Iowa after he reportedly saw witches sends the investigators on a big game hunt for whatever killed him. They find more than they expected.

Call of Cthulhu Providence Campaign 44 – To Sleep, Perchance to Dream & Lemon Sails

When a mutual friend gifts the investigators with boxes of chocolates, they are unexpectedly catapulted to the Dreamlands where they find he did it merely to thank them for their friendship. Then they do a little favor for him and end up traveling the Dreamlands to worlds beyond.

The 43rd session of the game took place on April 10, 2017, with the short introductory scenarios “To Sleep, Perchance to Dream” by Jeff Okamoto and “Lemon Sails” by Phil Frances from H.P. Lovecraft’s Dreamlands. My players were Ashton, Katelyn, Ambralyn, Kyle, Ben, and James.
